A space for knowing oneself and the world through philosophical contemplation. The purpose of the FÜYA center is to provide the space and time for contemplation, as was the case in the early philosophical schools of the Mediterranean Sea.

Today there is a need to create pathways of contemplation that center an ontological approach capable of rethinking not only philosophy, but also dance, in light of the eternity of the essential. The FÜYA center embraces philosophy, dance and contemplation by offering qualitatively pregnant experiences and establishes its philosophical roots in the philosophy of the eternal “of” Emanuele Severino.

The madness indicated by the philosophy of the eternal is thinking and experiencing things as nothing. Non-madness is the gaze capable of glimpsing what seems the simplest thought: the absolute opposition of the being and nothingness. Such opposition is the eternity of all being. “Everything is eternal” means that every moment of reality is, from ever and forever, that is, it does not go out and return to nothingness.

If every gesture is eternal, different is the spectacle that is shown to the eyes of the dancer. For the dancer who, faced with death, dances in the light of eternity, it is not a matter of inventing new gestures, but of letting the gestures say what they have been saying since they were offered to the truth of being.
