Poison Moon is a butoh performance by Damiano Fina. The choreography was presented at the Hokkaido Butoh Festival 2018 in Sapporo, Japan on May 27th. The performance was previewed at Haru No Kaze Festival of Japan in Vicenza, Italy on March 23rd. Poison Moon is a very intimate performance, inspired by Damiano Fina's adolescence while he started piano lessons and his meditation path. Chopin's Op.28 was the focus of his music education. Damiano Fina designed this flower dress, starting from the textile, in collaboration with the designer Giovanna Creazioni.
"Nothing can be protected from life". A boy to the Moon. On a silent black lake. Just a moth.
